Liz Anjos is a pianist and songwriter based in Portland, Oregon. She began playing piano at the age of seven in southeastern Pennsylvania, studied piano performance with Dr. Yeeseon Kwon while earning her Bachelor of Arts at Greenville College, and now studies with concert pianist and musical artist Sophie Lippert. Anjos spent four years touring internationally, playing keyboard and singing for indie-pop act and Grammy-winning artist RAC, performing in renowned festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza. In 2014 she created the solo project Pink Feathers and independently released two EPs of original music. Her single “Ghosts” was featured on the MTV television show Awkward. More recently, Anjos composed a suite of piano compositions inspired by her thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.
Liz is also an avid runner and hiker. In addition to being a 2:51 marathoner, she is the fastest woman in history to have hiked the entire 2,193 mile Appalachian Trail northbound, as well as the fastest woman to have completed the 72 mile traverse of the Great Smoky Mountains.
